Join Our Virtual Group for Teens with a Parent Diagnosed with Cancer

Are you a teenager between the ages of 14 and 18 with a parent or primary caregiver who has been diagnosed with cancer? At Cancer Friends Connect, we understand the challenges you may be facing during this time, and our virtual group is here to offer support and understanding.

Twice Monthly Virtual Meetings

Our group meets twice a month on Thursdays at 6:30 PM EST. Whether you need someone to talk to, want guidance, or would like to connect with others who are going through a similar experience, we’re here for you.

No Fee, No Commitment

Participation in our virtual group is free, and no commitment is required. Drop in as much or as little as you would like, depending on your needs. We would like you to feel comfortable and supported; our doors are always open.

How to Join

To join our organization, contact Jennifer Ricca, CTF Manager, at jricca@cscnyct.org or call (914) 644-8844 ext 104. Jennifer will guide you through the process and provide any additional information.

Before starting in the group, all participants will be asked to complete a brief intake form. This ensures we can best support you and tailor our sessions to your needs.

Receive Meeting Links

Once you have signed up, you will receive a link before each group meeting. Click on the link to join the virtual gathering and connect with other teens who understand what you are going through.

Remember, you don’t have to face this journey alone. Join our virtual group and find the support, understanding, and companionship you need during this time. For more information, please contact us today. We look forward to having you as part of our community.
